Afro Rock Star and Social Justice Crusader, Ayokanmi Oluwasegun Eyanro known as ‘Frequencie’ has berated President Muhammadu Buhari led administration and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State over the killings and maiming of #EndSARS protesters in Lekki Toll Gate and other parts of the country.

Frequencie while reacting to the murder of young innocent Nigerians yesterday, Tuesday, 20, 2020 at Lekki Toll gate by soldiers, highlighted the insensitivity, inaction and insincerity of Buhari to genuine concerns/demands of #EndSARS protesters led to escalation of situation nationwide.

The Nigerian born Afro Rockstar accused the government of infuriating the peaceful protests with state sponsored thugs to rubbish #EndSARS campaign and tactically use force to stop the protests amidst lack of commitment to end police Brutality.

Frequencie stated that he had earlier warned President Muhammadu Buhari and Inspector General of Police to end brutality of Nigerians by security agencies in order to prevent Black Lives Matter-like protest in Nigeria. He noted lukewarm attitude of the Constituted Authorities to genuine grievances of patriot and productive youths led to uninterrupted 12-day #EndSARS protests across the country and beyond.

Frequencie affirmed that the killing of innocent youths would not stop the ideology behind #EndPoliceBrutality campaign as it has gained international support.

He however called on the Government to be sincere in the ongoing efforts to address 5-point demands by #EndSARS protesters to avoid growing civil unrest, adding that mere window dressing and empty promises would force people back to the street.

While sympathizing with departed souls, Frequencie said they would all be remembered as heroes of NEW NIGERIA. He also advocated for immortalization of casualties of #EndSARS Protest and compensation for their families as well as victims of police Brutality in the past
